# Can I Use iCloud on Android?

Switching from iPhone to Android or using both platforms? Here is what iCloud access actually looks like on Android and the better alternatives.

## The Direct Answer

**Limited access only.** You can visit **iCloud.com** in any Android browser to access photos, mail, notes, contacts, calendars, and iCloud Drive files. However, there is **no native iCloud app for Android** — you cannot get automatic photo sync, backup, or seamless integration. If you use both platforms or are switching to Android, **Google Photos** is a better cross-platform solution with native apps on both iOS and Android.

## What Works on Android via iCloud.com

- **Photos:** View, download, and upload photos. But no automatic sync — you must manually access the website.

- **Mail:** Full access to your iCloud email inbox. Read, compose, and manage emails.
