This Privacy Policy describes how DB Labs iOS applications (the "Apps") — including Swype Photo Cleaner and any future DB Labs apps — collect, use, and share information when you use them.
Summary
- No personal or identifiable data is collected.
- We collect anonymous, aggregated analytics (e.g., sessions, screens viewed, approximate region as reported by the platform) to improve stability and usability.
- We do not sell or share data for advertising.
- We do not track you across apps or websites.
- Your photos are never uploaded to any server. All photo processing is on-device.
Information We Collect
We do not collect personal or identifiable information. We collect only anonymous analytics to understand app performance and usage patterns. This may include:
- Event counts (e.g., feature used, screen opened)
- Session duration
- App version, device type, OS version
- Coarse region as reported by the platform
These analytics are aggregated and are not linked to your identity in any way.
Photo access: Apps like Swype Photo Cleaner require access to your photo library to function. All photo processing happens entirely on your device using Apple's PhotoKit framework. Photos are never uploaded to our servers or any third-party servers.
How We Use Information
- Maintain and improve app functionality and performance
- Prioritize bug fixes and feature enhancements based on anonymous usage trends
- Ensure compatibility across iOS versions and devices
Analytics
We may use Apple Analytics and/or Google Analytics for Firebase to collect anonymous, aggregated usage metrics. We do not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) and we do not request App Tracking Transparency permission. Analytics data is used solely to improve the app and is not linked to your identity.
You can limit analytics collection via iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements.
Children's Privacy
Our Apps do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Only anonymous analytics data may be collected, which cannot be used to identify individuals.
Security
Since no personal data is collected and photos are never transmitted, risk is minimized by design. Anonymous analytics data is handled using industry-standard security practices provided by Apple and Google.
Your Rights
Because no personal data is collected, there is no personal data to access, delete, or transfer. You may manage your preferences regarding analytics collection via iOS Settings (iOS Analytics opt-in or Google Analytics opt-out). You can revoke photo library access at any time via iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Photos.
